Professor Howard Cuckle
Professor Howard Cuckle has recently been appointed Adjunct Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Columbia University, New York, USA.  He is also Emeritus Professor at the School of Medicine at the University of Leeds. Several of the best antenatal screening tests currently available have been developed by Professor Cuckle and his teams. He is a director of Genome Ltd.

The central focus of his research is screening and current projects are largely concerned with improving screening tests for Down's syndrome, cystic fibrosis, neural tube defects, fragile X and adverse outcomes of pregnancy such as early pre-eclampsia.
Mr Gerald Mason
Gerald Mason is a consultant in Feto-Maternal Medicine at Leeds General Infirmary and is the director of Leeds Ultrasound Screening Service Ltd. He is an executive member of the British Maternal and Fetal Medicine Society and the director of the Leeds sub speciality training program in Feto Maternal Medicine.

Gerald has held the Certificate in Nuchal Translucency Scanning issued by the Fetal Medicine Foundation since 1997.
Judith Pilling
Judith Pilling is LSC’s centre manager and full-time Clinical Specialist. Trained in ultrasound in 1990 she obtained her masters ultrasound qualification in 1998. She worked in the NHS until 1997 before going into industry as a specialist advisor to an ultrasound manufacturer. She returned to clinical practice to open and run the LSC in 2003.

Judith has gained years of experience in the ultrasound field and specialises in several clinical areas of ultrasound including obstetric, gynaecological and abdominal ultrasound.

With an active interest in all aspects of ultrasound she is a member of the British Ultrasound Society. She also lectures and teaches the various topics and aspects of ultrasound and its uses. 

She holds the Diploma of the College of Radiographers, The Diploma in Medical Ultrasound, the MSc in Ultrasound and the Certificate in Nuchal Translucency Scanning issued by the Fetal Medicine Foundation.
Dr Emma Ferriman
Emma Ferriman is a consultant in Feto-Maternal medicine at Leeds General Infirmary and specialises in twin pregnancy.

Emma holds the Certificate in Nuchal Translucency Scanning issued by the Fetal Medicine Foundation.
Dr James Simpson
Dr James Simpson currently works as a Consultant Radiologist at Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Trust. James joins LSC to support our service expansion into diagnostic ultrasound services. He will oversee and support our new general imaging service working closely with our team of specialists to give individuals the opportunity to receive high quality ultrasound imaging when they need it.
Indera Sehmi
Indera Sehmi was instrumental in setting up the private Leeds Antenatal Screening Service in 1991 and has managed the Genome screening team at Leeds Screening Centre since 2003. She is responsible for all aspects of service development and the provision of antenatal screening for chromosomal anomalies and genetic disorders.
Janice Porter
Janice Porter is an Advanced Practitioner working within the obstetric units at both St James’s University Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary. She has over 30 years experience in obstetric ultrasound and specialises in fetal well-being.

She holds the Diploma of the College of Radiographers, The Diploma in Medical Ultrasound and the Certificate in Nuchal Translucency Scanning issued by the Fetal Medicine Foundation.
Rachelle Wardle, Chloe Porter, Natalie Freeman
This team of trained co-ordinators run the day-to-day aspects of the antenatal screening services for Down’s syndrome, fragile X, spinal muscular atrophy and cystic fibrosis in conjunction with Leeds Ultrasound Screening Service.
